Shame Game

Case No. SG-2026-0001 · Filed in the court of public opinion

Make a promise your dignity has to keep.

Shame Game is a weekly accountability pact for friends. Keep your word and earn honor. Break it, and a consequence you pre-approved — while confident — is executed. Automatically. Publicly. Sincerely.

Approved
for consequences

Exhibit A

The mechanism

  1. 01

    Form a pact

Two to twelve friends. One weekly vow each — “post four times for the business,” “gym, thrice,” your call. A deadline, a season, and a stakes mode: Casual through Nuclear.

  2. 02

    Escrow your shame

Write your confession now, while you still feel invincible. Approve it word for word. We hold it in escrow, and nothing you didn’t author ever leaves the pact.

  3. 03

    Ship your week

Submit receipts. Your pact verifies them — or contests them and votes. The tribunal is your friends, which is worse.

  4. 04

    Face Judgment Day

Hit your number and collect honor. Miss it and the wheel spins, a 24-hour pardon window opens, and then the consequence executes. Automatically.

Exhibit B

Schedule of consequences

Your pact chooses its ceiling. Consecutive failures escalate one level. Every consequence below was invented by people who thought it would never apply to them.

Level 1
In-group

Clown avatar. A Certificate of Shame, suitable for framing. An AI-written roast. The tab: dinner’s on you.

Executed by the app.

Level 2
Public-ish

A public shame page in newswire style. A permanent entry on the Wall of Shame. Dare roulette. Bio jail.

Our surfaces. Your reputation.

Level 3
Hard mode

Your escrowed confession auto-posts to your own X or LinkedIn. Yes, the corporate-parody one. “I’m humbled to announce…”

Your accounts. Your words. Our timing.

Level 4
Nuclear

A real press release on a national newswire, featuring you as the case study, billed to you: $99. Plus a formal letter to your designated authority figure.

Card on file required. Wire releases are irrevocable.

Exhibit C · Doc. v1

The Shame Waiver

Executed in the presence of witnesses who will remember this

I,  your name here , being of sound mind and inflated confidence, hereby pledge  the thing you keep saying you’ll do . I acknowledge that my dignity is collateral. I have written the words below myself, while confident, and I authorize Shame Game to publish them — exactly as written, nowhere else, nothing more — if and only if I fail. I can revoke this consent at any time by deserting, and I accept that desertion is itself embarrassing.

Signature of the confident

Revocable
at any time

The load-bearing rule: nothing leaves your pact unless you wrote it, previewed it, and approved it verbatim. The app never generates public content about you. Deserting deletes your escrowed material immediately and permanently — you just exit wearing a small badge that says you deserted.

Exhibit D

The Wall of Shame

A permanent, public record of failures.

Everyone on it agreed to be there.

Convene the tribunal. While you’re still confident.

Free to play. Failure has a price.
