Exhibit A
The Shame Waiver
Last updated July 2026
Nothing happens on Shame Game without this. You write your own consequences while confident, and you sign the waiver below before any of them can ever run. Here is the whole thing, unedited:
I, {your name}, being of sound mind and inflated confidence, hereby pledge {your vow}. I acknowledge that my dignity is collateral. I have written the words below myself, while confident, and I authorize Shame Game to publish them — exactly as written, nowhere else, nothing more — if and only if I fail. I can revoke this consent at any time by deserting, and I accept that desertion is itself embarrassing.
The brackets fill in with the promise you actually make. You sign it by hand, it is hashed and locked, and it is the only thing that authorizes a consequence. Revoke it any time by deserting — which, the waiver notes, is itself embarrassing.
